Randel, Woody Darren

Woody Darren Randel Oct. 13, 1966 - Feb. 23, 2016 Pomona Woody Randel passed away at Pomona Valley Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. He passed away with his twin sister Deborah Khademi and his spouse Bret Helvig by his side, and was surrounded by his family. Woody was born in Bakersfield, California to Wilbur Randel Jr and Marian Randel. He attended Bakersfield Adventist Academy graduating in 1985. He worked in the metal fabrication industry. The first part of his career working at Randel Welding and later at Warren and Baerg Manufacturing, where he traveled extensively. Woody is survived by his parents Wilbur and Marian Randel Jr.; his twin sister Deborah Khademi and her husband Mehdi; his spouse Bret Helvig; his brother Frank Randel and wife Lori and his sister Babette Benson and husband Jeff. He is also survived by his nine nieces and nephews: Breanna and Jorge Ramirez, Marissa Stauss, Nathan Randel, Erin Macomber and husband Chris, Joshua Randel, Mathew Khademi, Nicholas Randel, Hana Khademi, Michael Strauss and one great nephew, Wayne Michael Macomber.
